Meet Our Executive Team

Viv Padman OAM

Executive Director

Viv & Florence founded Premier Health Care in 1984. Viv is actively involved in the Aged Care Industry having sat on both the State and Federal Aged Care Association Boards, as well as the HESTA board for 14 years. In 2010, Viv won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Category of Services in South Australia. In 2019, Viv was awarded a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for service to aged welfare.

Florence Padman

Executive Director of Nursing

Florence is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors of Education and a strong passion for skills development and excellent care delivery. She has led the Group’s team of clinical and care professionals to ensure the highest levels of care and service are continually delivered to provide best outcomes for Residents. Florence has presented at Aged Care Conferences and is in high demand as a contributor to industry panels and discussion groups.

Pru Mounsey

Director of Care and Client Services

Pru is a Registered Nurse with a Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Work Health & Safety. Pru has over 30 year’s experience in Residential Aged Care and is committed to pursuing quality driven outcomes and service models for consumers. Pru is highly regarded within the industry and recognised as an outstanding mentor and leader for Management and staff across all levels.

Reena Costello

Head of Operations & Regulatory Compliance

Reena is a legal practitioner with a Master of Laws from Columbia University in the City of New York. Reena has practiced law in South Australia and New York, with a focus on commercial litigation, and returned to Adelaide to join the group as its in-house legal counsel in 2017. Reena oversees compliance with regulatory and quality changes affecting the facilities, and assists with the Group’s developments.

Sally Chicco

Financial Controller

Sally is a Chartered Accountant with expertise in both financial control and business partnering. Sally has extensive experience within the banking sector, coming from one of Australia's Big Four Banks, after having spent two years working for RBS in London. Sally manages the financial and administrative functions within the Group, and assists with audits and compliance in order to achieve the strategic aims of the business.

Kaycee Knight

Quality Services Manager

Kaycee Knight is the Quality Services Manager for the Group and assists with maintaining compliance across all areas of care and services. Kaycee has a background in nursing and has spent the last six years working in the Aged Care Industry in various roles, most recently as Premier Health Care’s Quality Services Officer and Residential Services Manager for The Lexington on Parade. Kaycee has a strong passion for Aged Care and values the importance of providing excellence in care inclusive to all.

Karen Lappin

ACFI Manager

Karen has extensive experience overseeing and coordinating ACFI processes and procedures. Karen is a Registered Nurse with 30 years' experience in Aged Care Settings, working in a variety of roles including Residential Site Manager, Regional Education Coordinator, ACFI Funding Coordinator and as a Palliative Care nurse. Karen liaises with Allied Health Staff and is involved in education and mentoring of the ACFI team across the group.

Lihong (Lee) Zhai

Residential Services Manager, The Claridge Residential Care

Lee has worked all around the globe, starting her career as a midwife in China and then subsequently travelling to Ireland to work in a dementia specific hospital. Lee moved to Australia in 2010 and for the past 5 years has worked as a Care Director. Lee has strong clinical knowledge and management skills and was awarded Hesta's Nurse of the Year in 2016.

Sandy Kesting

Site Manager, The Waterford @ Hervey Bay

Sandy Kesting is the Site Manager at The Waterford @ Hervey Bay, a 145-bed luxury Aged Care Facility in Urraween, Hervey Bay. Sandy has a Certificate IV and Diploma in Business Management. She has a passion for Aged Care and has worked closely with Viv and Florence for over 16 years, having managed their former site at Encounter Bay in South Australia and now The Waterford. Sandy has a strong focus on enhancing our client’s lifestyle and community connections.

Sue Clifton

Residential Services Manager, The Menzies @ Pacific Paradise

Sue Clifton has worked in a Senior Management role for almost 10 years, having previously managed Residential Aged Care Facilities in Nambour and Mt Coolum. Sue has worked within the Aged Care sector for 20 years with a strong focus on dementia care. Sue has qualifications in Business Management and Nursing and is excited to be working at Premier Health Care's luxurious Sunshine Coast Facility.
